Gaming in Asia has proliferated at an astounding rate. While Macau is still Asia’s largest gaming jurisdiction, and most are familiar with Singapore’s integrated resorts, new integrated resorts have been developed in S. Korea, Cambodia, Vietnam and other countries. In addition, Japan is expected to enter the casino sector with integrated resorts slated to open as soon as 2025.

In 2009, the Russian Federal Government outlawed gaming throughout the Russian Federation while simultaneously setting up four Integrated Entertainment Zones (where gaming activities are legally allowed), including the Primorye IEZ. Currently, our majority owned resort Tigre de Cristal is the only property in operation, but we expect other resorts in the Primorye IEZ to commence operations over the next 2-3 years thereby creating a cluster effect and making Primorye an increasingly attractive destination.
